
Description
The alterations and additions to this 1980s house called for a sympathetic design and seamless integration of old and new. The extension works comprised a new entry and living space, and the existing spaces were reconfigured to deliver a new master bedroom and ensuite, kitchen/dining and laundry.

- The expanse of both existing and introduced natural timber floorboards, wall linings, joinery, window reveals and external timber cladding, ties this project in with its natural surroundings.
- Ducted heating & cooling system introduced to service the entire house. Air supply discretely incorporated into joinery units and a custom timber grille integrated into the Tasmanian Oak timber flooring.

- Double-sided fireplace positioned on an exposed honed concrete plinth.
